When it comes to events, we make sure we're among the first to witness the launch of smartphone releases, although locally.
androidist covers most of the on-site events that are held in the Philippines. Our Editor-in-Chief (Brahm Daniel Verano) was there when OnePlus first debuted in the country in 2022 — bringing the OnePlus 10T officially in PH — which then prompted us to review the device in 2023. In the same year, we also reviewed the OnePlus Pad the day of its release — making us the first Philippine-based media outfit to review the brand's first tablet.
To date, androidist has covered a wide range of events in the Philippines, including the OPPO Reno 10 Series Launch that announced the Reno10, Reno10 Pro, and Reno 10 Pro+, Samsung's Unpacked 2024 that highlighted the launch of the Galaxy Z6 Series, and HONOR's launch of its 'thinnest' foldable Magic V3.
