Samsung brings the Galaxy A26 5G in the Philippines
Samsung brings yet another mid-range offering into the Philippines.
MANILA, Philippines — Smartphone giant Samsung has announced the arrival of the brand's newest mid-range addition to the Galaxy family, the Galaxy A26 5G, in the Philippines, in a press release sent to androidist on Wednesday, March 26, 2025. The new offering from the smartphone maker highlights the never-before-seen AI features on the Galaxy A lineup.

The most accessible AI phone from the brand.
Samsung names it as the 'most accessible AI phone' from the brand. According to the press release, the Galaxy A26 5G is said to come with 'Awesome Intelligence', which the brand says is the 'first comprehensive mobile AI platform for the Galaxy A series'.

Samsung also adds that the AI platform brings 'easy-to-use' AI tools to first-time AI smartphone users, also available to Galaxy A36 5G and A56 5G. Features included within the AI platform are the fan-favorite Circle-to-Search with Google (a Google search gesture that can be accessed in one tap — previously seen on Samsung flagship phones), the Object Eraser, the Edit Suggestion, and the Photo Remaster.
