Foldable HUAWEI Pura X announced in China with 16:10 aspect ratio

Pre-orders for the newest foldable from the brand are now up in China.
MANILA, Philippines — Chinese technology giant HUAWEI has announced the latest foldable offering from the brand — the Pura X — through its website in China on Thursday, March 20, 2025. The Pura X highlights its wide appearance, embracing the 16:10 aspect ratio with brand-new AI and satellite communication capabilities underneath. The foldable's Collector's Edition colorways (Red and Green) come in leather finish, while the Moonlight Grey, White, and Black colorways come in glass.
The Pura X display measures 6.3-inch in full and 3.5-inch when folded. Both screens use an OLED panel and support a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a triple-camera setup around the back, consisting of a 50MP main, 40MP wide, and 8MP telephoto, and has a 10.7MP camera on the front.

The foldable uses an unspecified processor but reports suggest a Kirin 9010 variant (via Notebook Check), with 12GB RAM for the standard model and 16GB RAM for the Collector's Edition. The former is available in 256GB and 512GB storage models while the latter opts for more memory with 512GB and 1TB variants available for the device. It also has a 4,720mAh battery inside and runs on HarmonyOS 5.0.1.
