MANILA, Philippines — Smartphone giant realme has announced the realme 14 Pro series, comprised of the realme 14 Pro and the 14 Pro+, for the Indian market at an online event on Thursday, January 16, 2025. The two new smartphones from realme feature curved displays, mid-range processors, and camera-centric specifications.
realme 14 Pro+ 5G
The realme 14 Pro+ 5G sports a pearl design featuring the triple-camera setup located at the upper middle of the back panel. The main cameras are comprised of a 50MP periscope, a 50MP main with OIS, and an 8MP ultra-wide. On the front is a 32MP selfie camera.

The display uses a 6.8-inch curved OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, backed by the IP69, IP68, and IP66 ratings for water, shock, and dust resistance. For performance, it uses a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, paired with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage, alongside a 6,000mAh battery that charges at 80W. The phone runs on Android 15-based realme UI 6.0.

Meanwhile, the realme 14 Pro 5G features a similar design as the Pro+ 5G but uses a smaller 6.7-inch compared to the latter. It still has the IP69, IP68, and IP66 certifications for water, shock, and dust resistance, and the 50MP camera but uses a 16MP camera on the front.

The 14 Pro 5G is powered by a Dimensity 7300 Energy chipset, with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage. It has a 6,000mAh battery inside that charges at 45W and runs on realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15.
