MANILA, Philippines — Smartphone brand POCO has announced the POCO X7 series comprised of the POCO X7 and X7 Pro globally, including the Philippines, via an online event on Thursday, January 9, 2025. The POCO X7 series is the newest mid-range duo from the brand that features the Dimensity 8400-Ultra for the X7 Pro and the Dimensity 7300-Ultra for the X7 starting at PHP 13,999.

For starters, the POCO X7 Pro packs a 6.67-inch display in an AMOLED panel. It has a 120Hz refresh rate with a resolution of 2712 x 1220 and is backed by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i for toughness. Inside the X7 Pro is a 4nm Dimensity 8400-Ultra processor, paired with either 256GB or 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage, and 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM. It also has a 6,000mAh battery that charges at 90W and runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 2.

The X7 Pro has a dual-tone design, as well as a dual-camera setup located at the back: 50MP main with OIS and 8MP ultra-wide sensor. Meanwhile, on the front is a 20MP selfie snapper. The phone is available in three colors: Black, Green, and Yellow.

On the other hand, the POCO X7 comes with the same screen-size: 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 2712 x 1220 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, but opts for a different material for its toughness: Gorilla Glass Victus 2. It also has a different squircle-like camera design at the back that houses two cameras: 50MP main with OIS and 8MP ultra-wide sensors. On the front is a 20MP sensor.

Powering the POCO X7 is a 4nm Dimensity 7300-Ultra chipset, paired with either 256GB or 512GB of UFS 2.2, 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and a 5,110mAh battery that charges at 45W. The phone runs on Xiaomi HyperOS and is available in three colors: Silver, Green, and the yellow-accented Black.

In related news, the POCO X7 Pro also comes in a limited Iron Man Edition with an introductory price tag of PHP 19,999 (vs. PHP 22,999 SRP) for the 12GB + 512GB memory configuration.
