OPPO teases the Reno13 series in the Philippines

The smartphone maker teases its upcoming Reno installment in the country. 

MANILA, Philippines — Smartphone maker OPPO teases the arrival of the brand's upcoming Reno13 series in the Philippines in a press release sent to androidist on Monday, January 20, 2025. 'OPPO is set to introduce the latest in its line of innovative and trendsetting smartphones built for discovery and exploration,' the press release read.

The OPPO Reno13 Series 5G

According to the press release, the OPPO Reno13 series 5G is the 'first in its class' to have an IP69 waterproof rating, which promises to capture underwater photos and videos at depths of up to 2 meters for 30 minutes without a protective case.

Aside from its 'waterproof' capabilities, the Reno13 series is said to offer AI-powered features, such as the AI Livephoto and AI Reimagine that add artistic flair to photos and videos, as well as the AI Clarity Enhancer and AI Reflection Remover that ensures images are crisp, clear, and flawless.

Furthermore, the soon-to-be-released lineup from the smartphone brand is said to come with a 50MP main camera — with the AI Portrait mode in addition to the phones' set of AI features — and a unique Butterfly Shadow Design, which combines matte and glossy textures 'for a look inspired by nature's elegance.'

The OPPO Reno13 Series 5G is coming soon to the Philippines.
