HONOR Philippines makes an ambitious start with the brand's first robust installment for the year 2025.
MANILA, Philippines — Smartphone brand HONOR has set a new Guinness World Record at a preview event held in Manila, Philippines on Monday, January 6, 2024. The Guinness World attempt gathered HONOR fans and content creators alike who performed a simultaneous drop test of the brand's upcoming rugged smartphone HONOR X9c that is set to launch on Friday, January 10, 2024 in the country.

The certificate presented at the event read: 'The most people performing a mobile phone drop test simultaneously was achieved by HONOR Philippines (Philippines) at the HONOR X9c Experiential Preview event in Manila, Philippines on 6 January 2025.'
The HONOR X9c is set to drop on January 10 with the slogan All-Angle Triple Defense. A virtual event for the launch will be available across the brand's social media channels at 6:00 PM Philippine Standard Time (PST).
