MANILA, Philippines — Samsung has recently announced the public release of the One UI 7 beta program on Thursday, December 5, 2024. The new software from the South Korean technology giant promises powerful AI features, simplified controls, and a preview of scalable AI ecosystems in the future, which will be first available for the Galaxy S24 series in Germany, India, Korea, Poland, the U.K., and the U.S., from December 5, and within early 2025 for the Philippines.

The One UI 7 will bring advanced writing assist tools to expand on the already-available assist tools to Galaxy users, offering AI-powered options for summaries, grammar checking, and notes into bullet points.

Aesthetic-wise, One UI 7 will come with "Now Bar," a new notification system with easy access from the lock screen — which offers instant access to Interpreter, Music, Recording, Stopwatch, and more. Further, several One UI widgets have been redesigned in this upcoming release, including the lock screen, and the camera to "reduce visual clutter" and "make customization intuitive and seamless."
