Manila, Philippines — OPPO puts the Find X8, the brand's latest flagship offering, up for pre-order in the Philippines on Friday, November 22, 2024. The new smartphone from the tech giant offers a new exceptional camera system with an ultra-modern design, enhanced durability, new software, and a slew of AI features up its sleeve.
Swedish camera brand Hasselblad has been OPPO's go-to partner for the brand's flagship releases. The ongoing partnership between the two brands, especially with the release of the Find X8, has brought Hasselblad's camera imaging expertise, once again, to the OPPO flagship — with three 50MP ultra-wide, wide, and telephoto sensors, as well as an AI-powered telescope zoom that ensures crystal-clear shots with up to 120x zoom. The Find X8 also has a Stage Mode feature that allows concertgoers to capture moments even at long range.

The OPPO Find X8 boasts a 6.59-inch 120Hz AMOLED display in Full HD+ resolution with support for 4,500-nit peak brightness, and a 40-percent improved stability thanks to the brand's in-house Luminous Rendering Engine. The OPPO flagship also has a slim design: weighing 193 grams with a thickness of 7.85 millimeters, backed by IP68 and IP69 certifications, ensuring the toughness of the Find X8.
Underneath the Find X8 is a 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset with an Immortalis G925 MC12 GPU, accompanied by 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The OPPO flagship also comes with a 5,630mAh battery with 80W SUPERVOOC that is said to charge the device in full in just 48 minutes. It also supports wireless charging with the 50W AIRVOOC technology.

The OPPO Find X8 comes in two colors: Space Black, and Star Grey, and retails for PHP 54,999 (~roughly US $935) for the 12GB + 256GB configuration. The new smartphone from OPPO is now up for pre-order at authorized OPPO stores and channels. Early bird buyers are entitled to freebies worth PHP 9,000 (~roughly US $153): an OPPO Enco Air3s and a Black Tape Bluetooth model for record player MDY.
The device will also be available on OPPO's Lazada channel on November 22, 2024, while availability on Shopee and TikTok Shop will follow on November 29, 2024. Meanwhile, all purchases on OPPO's e-commerce channels will include the following until November 30, 2024:
