The ROG Phone 8 was just launched earlier this year and we're already getting the next installment as a year-ender.
The announcement of the Snapdragon 8 Elite, Qualcomm's new state-of-the-art System-on-Chip, has summoned a roadmap of smartphone releases subsequent to the launch of the flagship chipset, and the ROG Phone 9 series happens to be among them. Launching this November 2024, the gaming brand of Taiwanese tech giant ASUS is launching the ninth installment of the ROG Phone lineup with the new chipset—with Oryon CPU and enhanced Adreno GPU.

In a press release, ASUS confirms its participation in the upcoming Snapdragon Summit 2024 on November 19. The ROG Phone 9 launch takes place at the latter, with the brand set to offer live demos and exclusive hands-on with engineering devices at the event. A virtual event will also be available across the brand's social media channels, which is set to start at 19:00 Taipei time.
