Chinese smartphone brand POCO has recently brought the POCO C61 in the Philippines. It is an entry-level handset that features a circular camera bump design with a waterdrop notch and a Helio G36 chipset, paired with up to 4GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of internal storage. It has a 5,000mAh battery and prices start at PHP 3,599 (~roughly US$ 65).
Launched initially in India, the new smartphone from POCO sports a 6.71-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 1650 x 720 resolution. It has a dewdrop notch on the front and a distinct circle-shaped camera setup at the back, consisting of dual-camera sensors: 8MP primary, and an auxiliary lens. On the front is a 5MP selfie camera with a f/2.2 aperture.
Inside the phone is a 12nm Helio G36 chipset, paired with either 3GB or 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB or 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage, with an expandable microSD slot for up to 1TB. The phone has a 5,000mAh battery inside that charges at 10W through the USB-C port and runs on an Android 14-based MIUI.
