The vivo V40 series is "an upgraded collaboration with Zeiss" according to the phone's landing page. The latter also highlights the series' set of 50MP cameras — one 50MP on the front and three 50MP sensors on the back, consisting of 119-degree ultra-wide, Sony IMX921 main, and Sony IMX816 telephoto lenses, suggesting that the duo may be carrying the same camera setup.

The website goes on with the technical aspects of the camera's features, including several portraits of people in different camera modes. Moving on to the camera features, the vivo V40 series will also have a slim build with IP68 certification for water and dust resistance and an "unbreakable powerhouse design". The landing page also showed the 5,500mAh battery although it is still unknown whether it will come with the Pro or the non-Pro model. But one thing we know for sure is that the vivo V40 Pro will be available in two colors: Ganges Blue and Titanium Gray, whereas the non-Pro model will have the same two colors with Lotus Purple as an addition.

The vivo V40 series is coming soon. More details will be revealed at the duo's official launch happening in India.
