OPPO K12x 5G

Chinese-owned company OPPO has announced a new smartphone under the K-series lineup in India, which is the OPPO K12x 5G that features the same design as the OnePlus Nord CE4 and a military grade certification. The phone was teased on Flipkart and shortly announced its release date on July 29 in the Indian market. 

The OPPO K12X 5G sports a 6.67 inch FHD+ AMOLED display that supports 120 hertz of refresh rate and Splash Touch technology, which will help to use the device even if the user's hand is wet. The phone also features a 7.68 mm design, weighs about 168g, and will be launched in Breeze Blue and Midnight Violet, according to the company’s Indian website.

In terms of durability, the phone is also certified with MIL-STD-810H and twice-reinforced Panda Glass protection for its display. Other confirmed specifications include a 5,100 mAh battery capacity with 45W SuperVOOC fast charging, a camera which will support Dual View Video feature that records the main and selfie camera simultaneously, and the company’s AI LinkBoost technology that optimizes its network capabilities to ensure a strong and reliable connection even in weak signal areas.

The pricing of the OPPO K12x 5G is not yet confirmed by the company but its price range is expected to be in the same ballpark as the OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite which starts at INR 19,999 (~roughly around US $239; PHP 13.9K)
