Xiaomi today has announced the arrival of its latest installment in the country and it’s the Xiaomi 12 Lite — a 108MP mid-range device featuring the Snapdragon 778G chip and a 120Hz refresh rate.

A new mid-ranger from Xiaomi.

The Xiaomi 12 Lite is equipped with a 6.55-inch Full HD+ display in an AMOLED panel. It has a 120Hz refresh rate with HDR10+ support, Dolby Vision, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Up front is a punch-hole cut-out housing the 32MP selfie snapper.

Powering the mid-range device is the Snapdragon 778G chip, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It packs a 4,300mAh battery that charges at 67W through a USB Type-C port.

Camera-wise, there is a 108MP f/1.9 Samsung HM2 main sensor on the back of the device. It sits next to 8MP f/2.2 119-degree ultra-wide-angle and 2MP macro units which makes it a triple-camera setup. The former has a 1/1.52-inch large sensor with 2.1μm 9-in-1 Super Pixel tech which makes it the highlight of the handset.
