Realme has just announced a new player in the Indian market and it is the 5G variant of the 9i that was released back in early January. It features an astonishing design with a glowing motif on the back, as well as a Dimensity 810 chip, and a big 5,000mAh battery.
Same screen, different design.
For starters, the Realme 9i offers a 6.6-inch Full HD+ display in an IPS LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and a waterdrop notch housing the 8MP selfie camera. It features a slim 8.1mm design and a shiny back of what seems to be inspired by music CDs, according to a GSMArena report.
The new phone from Realme uses a triple-camera setup that is comprised of a 50MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and 5P lens, alongside 2MP portrait and 2MP macro sensors.
Inside is the Dimensity 810 chipset, paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It has a dedicated microSD slot that expands up to 2TB with virtual RAM expanding up to 3GB+ more and runs on Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0.
Keeping the lights on is a big 5,000mAh battery that charges at 18W through a USB Type-C port. Aside from that, the phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack, and supports dual 5G standby.
