Chinese smartphone maker POCO recently makes the C40 official in the Philippines. It is an entry-level handset that features an uncommon processor along with a large battery and a dual camera setup.
For starters, the POCO C40 sports an enormous 6.71-inch HD+ display in an IPS LCD panel. It comes equipped with a notch housing the 5MP selfie snapper and a dual-camera setup on the back, consisting of 13MP main and 2MP depth sensors.
Under the hood is an uncommon JLQ JR510 octa-core chip which uses TSMC’s 11nm process, accompanied by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage with a dedicated microSD slot for further expansion. It runs on Android 11-based MIUI 13 for POCO and offers a 6,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging tech.
Other key features include a fingerprint sensor, IP52 water, and dust resistance, and a USB-C port.

The POCO C40 is available in Power Black, Coral Green, and POCO Yellow colors. It carries a price tag of PHP 7,499 for the 4GB + 64GB model. It will also get an introductory price of PHP 5,999 on July 15 exclusively at Shopee.
