Infinix earlier today adds two new phones to the Note 12 family — the Note 12 5G and 12 Pro 5G. Both phones share significant similarities though memory configurations and camera setups vary by each model. One of the key highlights of the 5G duo is the Dimensity 810 processor.
The Infinix Note 12 5G and 12 Pro 5G sport the same 6.7-inch Full HD+ display in an AMOLED panel. The display of the two new phones comes with a 180Hz touch sampling rate, 700 nits brightness, and a 16MP selfie snapper housed in a waterdrop notch layout. Albeit, the lack of refresh rate is present.
Camera-wise, the Note 12 5G comes equipped with a triple-camera setup, consisting of a 50MP primary, 2MP depth, and AI cameras. The Note 12 Pro 5G, on the other hand, retains the triple-camera setup but uses a better 108MP primary sensor, alongside 2MP depth and macro units.
Inside of the two phones is the Dimensity 810 SoC which uses TSMC’s 6nm architecture. The vanilla Note 12 5G comes with 6GB of RAM (+3GB virtual) and 64GB of internal storage while the Pro model comes with 8GB of RAM (+5GB virtual) and 128GB of onboard storage with a dedicated microSD slot expandable up to 2TB. Both phones run on Android 12-based XOS 10.6 and carry a 5,000mAh battery that charges at 33W though the vanilla model is 186g lighter than the Pro model.
