Nubia earlier today introduces another installment to the Red Magic lineup — the Red Magic 6S Pro. The device will feature a Snapdragon 888+ chip, 165Hz AMOLED display, and 64MP cameras.
For starters, the Red Magic 6S Pro is equipped with a 6.8-inch Full HD display in AMOLED panel, with up to 165Hz refresh rates and 720Hz touch-sampling rate. It has a resolution of 2400 x 1080 and is equipped with a 7th Gen In-Display fingerprint sensor with added heart rate sensor.
Under the hood, there’s a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ chipset that sits at the helm aided by up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Inside, there’s a 5,050mAh battery along with a 66W fast charging technology, it also comes with a Charge Separation feature that powers the phone directly from the charger to maintain the lifespan of the battery.
There’s also a Vapor Liquid Cooling System inside that is composed of a graphene layer, “aviation-grade” aluminum, and a VC cooling plate, as well as a “turbofan” that cools your phone up to 16°C and provides a fast 20,000 rotations per minute speed.
For cameras, it has a triple-camera setup attached at the back of the phone that is comprised of a 64MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide, and 2MP depth lenses, whereas you get an 8MP shooter on the front.
The handset runs on the latest Android 11 with RedMagic OS 4.0 out-of-the-box.
The Red Magic 6S Pro comes with two memory options: $599 (~PHP 30K) for the 12GB/128GB variant while $699 (~PHP 34.9K) for the 16GB/256GB one. There’s also a transparent version of the 16GB/256GB storage option that is priced at $729 (~PHP 36.4K). It will start hitting the global market on September 27. Local availability and pricing are yet to be confirmed however there’s a rumoured release here in the Philippines.
