Genshin Impact is cross-platform, you get to play and use your account on your mobile device, while on the other hand, you also get to use the existing account, but this time, on your PC. However, that’s not the case when you use the same account on a different platform (well, PC and Mobile are different but a console?) like PS4 or PS5. In other words, no data is saved when you log it into your console. This update should fix that.

According to a report by a well-known Genshin Impact tipster on Twitter, Genshin Report. The cross-save feature will arrive on mobile, PC, and PlayStation devices in the next 2.0 update. Genshin Report also claims that it will be present on the future Switch version of the game when it arrives.

The leaker also added that anyone with a Hoyolab account will be able to use the same Genshin Impact account on any platform.

This is just a portion of the upcoming update. We’ll hear the rest of the details during the livestream on July 9th. The Genshin Impact 2.0 update is expected to be released around July.
